Hello! My name is Shelby and I live in Oklahoma. Now, I know what you all are thinking. “O_o this girl must be into Rodeos and Country music.” But you would be surprised! I’m not anything like the stereotype. I will be twenty on Saturday! I’ve been writing letters for about three years now. I’ve had over 100 pen pals, but I’m looking for some fresh faces. I love to be creative with my letters :)
I really like to draw, sketch, paint, etc. My main hobby is writing, obviously. I go to the University of Oklahoma. I use my Nikon D70 on a daily basis.

Hullo! Looking for a pen pal (or two!). My name is Heather, I’m 20, and I’m from New York, in the US. I’m a bit of a science nerd; I’m currently studying wildlife as a major. I love writing as a past time (although I’m afraid I’m not very good at it yet, but practice makes perfect!), and I love reading, and discussing whatever book I’m currently on as well. Right now I’m rereading Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials for nostalgia’s sake, considering it was my favorite when I was younger.

I’m like a language freak. I have studied Russian, Italian, French and Portuguese but I’m so not good at them. Right now I’m taking my first course of German. I’m also a grammar freak, checking spelling and pointing out differences like “your” and “you’re”.I like reading, knitting, writing, drawing, collecting seeds and drinking coffee&tea. My favorite book is “La Tregua” by Mario Benedetti, I love latté and up to now my favorite tea is raspberry.
I love puppies, kittens, bunnies and hamsters, giraffes too. I also like cute little things like ribbons, plushies, friendship bracelets and stationary.
What am I looking for in a penpal?
First of all, someone who won’t get mad at me if I don’t answer instantly. I have the bad habbit of thinking my replies a couple of days before answering.
